Today Isabella didn't have school.

...well we decided to play little bit with watercolors and ink.

...and after we finished our project we had enought time

 to spend outside on this beautiful spring day.

Isabella's poppies

Today is poppie painting kinda day. 

...and I thought would be good idea to teach Isabella (6)

 how to paint poppies with watercolors.

I my opinion watercolor is the most difficult medium, because of technique and control. That 's why acrylic is my preferred medium. But I think it's important to let kids play with it so that they can explore the difference.

I think they came out awesome!

...and makes me happy that she is really enjoying doing our little projects together :)

This winter has been wonderful...beautiful snow and super cold.

 However, you started winter early this year. It is now March. 

Enough is enough!
