Isabella's watercolor painting Žibutės (Kidneywort)

March 25th and it snowed again in Columbus, OH!
Spring...where are you?!
To overcome negative thoughts about spring Isabella and I decided to paint
favorite Lithuanian spring flowers Žibutės (Kidneywort).

Cherry blossoms...

Well, spring has sprung. That means that my thoughts have turned to the lively topic of blooming.

This is the beginning of the change. Up to this point, everything has been lifeless and still. Nothing has changed in the landscape. Now, something new is coming. The transformation doesn’t happen all at once.
All things are waking up. Including me... There’s something about spring that turns my attention to what for me are the most beautiful plants on earth—cherry trees and magnolias.
